Dear Parents,

The weekly newsletters are to keep you informed of all the upcoming events and important information.

v  Here are some of the skills we will be working on this week: letter of the week will be “Qq”, we will be working with geometric shapes, and the numbers 0-20. 

v  Your child has homework on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Homework consists of a phonics work sheet for the letter of the week and handwriting practice sheets of their name, numerals or alphabet.  I encourage you to be involved and guide your child with their homework activities.  Thank you for all your support.  Please have your child place the red folder on the homework table as you leave your child in the morning.  If your child needs help writing their name, please help them at home on a daily basis.

v  We are in need of a few items for our class Project Bead Mania, magnets, Lysol, hand soap, and Baby Wipes.  I would like to thank the parents who have donated some of these items.

v  February 20, 2010 at 5:30 we will be celebrating our Children’s Mass. Parent and students are invited to join.

v  Our Spring Fundraiser is near and we are preparing a basket and project which will be auctioned off on April 16, 2010. We are asking for a donation of $10.00 per. child in order to purchase the items we need for the basket.

v  February 24, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. we will be having a presentation on Dental Awareness.
