Note to Parents

Dear Parents,

On Wednesday, March 24th we are going on our field trip to the Shrine. Every Friday, the children have been meditating on the Stations of the Cross. I believe that they have gained a better understanding of what Jesus endured for us. So, we are excited and hopeful that all our parents will join us.

Our trip will begin with walking the stations, a snack/bathroom break,visit the miracle room, attend a noon Mass (11:30 a.m.) and finally a picnic. It is important that children wear comfortable shoes and Mass uniform. Boys will be permitted to wear their red polo shirt. Please let me know if you are not able to transport your child as soon as possible.

On Friday, March 12th we will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Children may wear a green shirt after mass. Please DO NOT wear it under uniform to Mass. They may change after Mass. If you would like to volunteer a special snack a sign-up sheet will be posted on our bulletin board.

Easter Break will begin with noon release on Holy Thursday and no school on Good Friday. School will resume Monday, April 5th.

On Monday, April 5th we will be celebrating Easter with an Easter egg hunt. We are asking that each child bring two dozen plastic eggs with a treat (please tape eggs) and an Easter basket. Please do not send eggs with confetti.
