Dear 7th grade parents and students,

In case you weren’t aware, the 7th grade will be hosting the Candle & Rose ceremony one week from today (May 19th).  This ceremony marks the metaphorical and somewhat literal passing of the torch from the current 8th graders to our incoming 8th graders.

We have already begun planning, but I wanted to let you know that all of the 7th grade students must be present for the ceremony.  It will be at 4:30pm on Saturday, but we will need all of the students at school by 3:30pm to set up and rehearse one last time.

Additionally, I need all of the 7th graders to upload the biographies they wrote to the Google Doc for the program.  Here is the link.  This was already due, so it needs to be done ASAP.

Parents and students,

Following my shoulder injury, I was very limited in my ability to write.  As a result, my grades were not updated for a while.  However, I have managed to catch up on grading for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade except for the essays, which I am in the process of grading.

You may notice that your child’s grade has changed substantially due to missing work.  I will be sending home slips tomorrow with a list of each child’s missing work.  Please do not be alarmed if your child’s grade is low.  I will accept any missing work over the last three weeks of class.  If you have any questions, please email me at grustico@saintanthonyeagles.com.
