Dear Parents,

*A big thank you to all for making our Cinco de Mayo a great celebration. Our class enjoyed it.

*We will have several birthday celebrations these last week in May in which lunch will be provided. Please check the calendar posted on the bulletin board outside our classroom.

*Our last all school mass will be on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. Please join us in this Eucharistic celebration.

*Mark your calendars! Water day will be on Thursday, May 27, 2010. Make plan to attend this fun filled end of the year event. I will send more information at a later date.

*On Friday, May 21, 2010 after mass your child will recognized and receive a graduation diploma. Make plans to attend this special event.

*Our class will celebrate the last school mass on Friday, May 28, 2010. This will be our last mass together as a kindergarten class. Please join us in this Eucharistic celebration.

You have already received your information folders on our annual spring fundraiser.  I want to thank you for all the support you gave us with our weekly “Friday sales”.  The students have been anxiously waiting to see what their purchases would bring us.  We have raised enough money for our class basket and our class project.  We will be making a bookshelf that will be decorated with the beautiful pictures of your children taken throughout the year.  I encourage each of you to attend that night and help us to raise money for our wonderful school.  Without parents like you, our school would not be what it is today.

Dear Fifth Grade Parents,

Testing week has been going very well!  Thank you for the support and encouragement you provide at home. 

Tomorrow a parent is generously providing pizza for the class.  Students are still welcome to bring their own lunch or to order from the cafeteria, but we will be eating in our classroom.

Friday, April 16, 2010 (the day of the spring fundraiser “Jazz Up the Night!”), will be an early dismissal day (12:00).  The following Friday- April 23, 2010- is the Walkathon and will also be an early dismissal day.

Finally, this Friday is the Fifth Grade class Mass.  Students have been preparing well for the many roles they will have at Mass.     

Thank for all you do for your child and St. Anthony School!
